Neville and Margaret Bryant

Neville and Margaret Bryant have chosen to carry on the tradition of the Bryant family. Within and around the Wakatipu region the family has been involved in several different key businesses. Great grandfather, Richard Cougar Bryant was the first Harbour Master of Queenstown and Harry Bryant, Neville’s uncle, was one of the first tourism operators. Harry transported travellers on his soft-top bus now with Remarkable Experience, to the spectacular Routeburn Track from Kinloch, at the head of Lake Wakatipu. The journey was to view the scenic beauty and transport trampers to the Routeburn Track.

As third generation farmers of a large rural property, Neville and Margaret have run sheep and cattle for over three decades. Passionate about Harry’s grand lady, a family heirloom, Neville and Margaret wish to share her and offer visitors a unique experience. The 1937 Chevrolet bus arrived in New Zealand in 1942 and was one of six buses Harry Bryant operated from Routeburn Valley Motors.

Neville and Margaret have lovingly restored and returned Harry’s grand lady to her home in the Wakatipu. As Harry Bryant did many years ago, offering the opportunity to take a trip that will delight and entertain while visitors enjoy a journey of nostalgia, style and charm.
